Emily Applegarth, Co-Founder and CEO of Gamify
Gamify, a Lehi, Utah-based software company that provides a sales gamification platform where sales reps can compete for sales incentives, announced today that it has raised $2.5 million in seed funding. The round was led by New Stack Ventures, a venture firm investing in pre-revenue and early commercialization startups.
Gamify was founded in 2021 by Emily Applegarth and David Brown, who have both experienced the power of gamification in their own sales careers. They wanted to create a product that would help other sales professionals to achieve their goals and have fun along the way.
The platform helps sales teams to create custom leaderboards that display real-time data from various sources, such as CRM, door-to-door apps, or geofencing. It also helps them to manage spiffs and rewards that are tied to specific goals and KPIs, analyze their performance, identify areas for improvement, and engage in social feeds where they can share their achievements, challenges, and feedback, redeeming their earned points for gift cards or other customizable rewards.
Gamify is not just a tool for sales reps. It is also a platform for sales managers and leaders who want to increase revenue and retention by motivating and rewarding their sales teams, monitoring and optimizing their sales processes and strategies, and creating a culture of recognition and collaboration among their sales teams.
The company has already attracted customers from various industries, such as security, solar, pest control, roofing, and HVAC. With the new funding, Gamify plans to expand its product features, grow its customer base, and hire more talent.
Emily Applegarth, the co-founder and CEO of Gamify, said: “In order to make the best product possible, you need collaboration, teamwork and constant optimization”
